It's our 3rd year and 3 months anniversary today. Update! Update! Finally we've got our date and both of us are squeezing our brain juices hard to put things in place. Still more than a year to go and our flat is building up fast. Whooaaa~~~ But with the finances up and down, as usual with the bills, fees and other necessities, we are trying to get the best price out of the bestestestest prices! Our trip down to Expo with cuzzie and her fiancee for the wedding stuffs did help us in one way or another. We have to give a pass to some of the good deals cos we haven't really know what our budget is and how we want it to be. So many choices to choose from... now looking for some good wedding favours in mind! Although that's not the important one. :P

The Venue

Like any other BTBs, I'm sure we have headaches on this issue. Where to do? Is it convenient? Is it expensive? Can cooking be done? How many months in advanced do we need to do booking? Bla bla bla so on and so forth. I'm not sure myself. Well, I have always wanted to do at a big area not too cramped and stuffy. The best idea is to do at CC. The things that I've to consider is the cooking area or non-cooking area and of course rental charges. And I have a whole platoon of family members and friends. Yes, I don't intend to invite many but these bunch are all in contact. Pfft. A difficult thing to decide.

As I was browsing through........................ of course in mind, I had few places that I've thought of.
But so far, I only made a call to Nee Soon South CC. And woooowwww I was soooo sexcited I couldn't believe it! It was soooo affordable to have a whole day event at that rate. And most importantly is, it's air-conditioned. But am not sure if there's any more Terms & Conditions apply or not. I still have a year more. :(

Kompang Services

Initially, both me and Mr thought of cutting down cost not to take up kompang service. But from our experience somewhere, we find it a bit awkward to have the song played through audio system. I guessed with the kompang entertainment, it will be much more merrier.

Crucial plannings

A very good start to end the year! Exams done and school will resume next year. Now it's a good time for me to sit down and start planning what has got to be done next year. A crucial year for me and the Mr, to really plan the details. Apart from that, I've surveyed through some BTB blogs on how to start the preps rolling. The Pengantin.sg calculator somehow helped us in estimating our budget. So far...

Here's what we need to plan:

- Venue
- Catering
- Wedding Deco
- Bridal / Make-up
- Wedding cards
- Photography/ Videography -???
- Photoshoot
- Henna
- DJ/Entertainment -???
- Wedding favors
- Kompang

I've struck out some of these cos I'm sure who are the people doing it for me. Just need to confirm the date and do some trials. For the wedding cards, I would love to design my own and just get it printed probably in JB. Cost-cutting! I've also got a friend in Photography/Videography but i find another service company that has better works…. So how arr??? DJ/Enterrainment, if possible will try to ask my parents' contact.

I'm sure gonna do this SLOWLY…. but SURELY….!!!
